I started my midwifery journey 10 years ago and have worked in both hospital and home settings, caring for low and high risk women and babies.
Most recently I've been a Family Birth Centre Midwife providing on-call continuity of care, as well as a Clinical Facilitator supporting midwifery students on placement.

Prior to becoming a midwife, I worked alongside a community based peer support organisation run by women, with a lived experience of mental health issues around the time of having their baby.
My goal is to ensure that you receive safe and personalised maternity care specific to your circumstances. That you have someone to advocate and support you, through every step of your journey - someone in your corner!

This requires consideration of your health history, the latest research evidence, current clinical guidelines and of course your wishes. With this information, you can then make informed decisions.
I offer a full continuity of care package to a small caseload of women. This includes all of your pregnancy, labour and birth support, plus postnatal care up to six weeks.
Alternatively, you may wish to access home-based postnatal care only (from birth until six weeks).
Medicare rebates are available for eligible cardholders.

Being an Endorsed private midwife, I can order your pregnancy bloods and ultrasounds, as well as prescribe medications you may require for particular conditions such as nausea and vomiting in pregnancy, mastitis, wound infections etc.
You will also have access to advice and/or clinical review by a Consultant obstetrician and paediatrician, if needed.
